It used to be that all I cared was that I had shoes on that matched my outfit. Usually that just meant wearing brown leather sandals in the summer (or flip flops) or brown or black “reasonable” shoes in the winter - or boots of course.
Now that I’m working in an office though I find myself much more aware of the shoes I’m wearing to work. I’m not to the point where I’m reading the name on the shoes - hey are those Merrell shoes?? but I do care now if I have on pretty shoes with nice heel hight etc. 
. I guess I’m a big girl now LOL!!

Well it looks like I won’t be needing diet pills after all 
. Turns out that I just needed to go back to old faithful and start counting points again and I’d lose weight. Yes, it was that simple
A few years ago i bought a Weight Watchers “welcome” package or kit (not sure what they called it) off Ebay for around $20 - instead of paying to couple hundred to join. So now i have the kit with the points slider and book of points values for foods etc. It is really easy once you get the hang of it and the weight is falling off YAY!!

Okay, pack my luggage, I’m ready to go ! Well, maybe not totally ready LOL. I sure have the WANT to go on a vacation though. It’s like it’s all I can think about these days.
In all reality though, a vacation is not in my immediate future - no matter how much I imagine it. I need to work and make money first. Then, maybe if I have the engergy after, I can take a break somewhere fun LOL. In the meantime, it’s work, work, work. Not that I’m meaning to complain. I’m very lucky in that I enjoy what I do… very lucky indeed

It’s probably the country-small-town girl in me that brings this out but man oh man I do love big manly trucks I doubt it’s the accessories like the Chevy grills (though I do like lots of chrome on them ) or nice rims. I think it’s purely the big, manly size of them. Probably why I’m so drawn to Hummers. Man, they may be horrible on gas but they are HOT I tell ya, H.O.T. HOT! LOL!! …or, maybe it’s just me

Sorry if I’ve been hyping on this a lot lately but I REALLY want to get away! I’m thinking that a last minute flight with one or two cheap hotels could mix for a nice relaxing time that won’t be too hard on my pocketbook
Now all I need to do is find a girlfriend who wants to travel with me - OH, or maybe TWO girlfriends 
The more the merrier! Now I just have to talk Hubby into watching the kids while I go somewhere sunny without him LOL!!

I’m having one of those random thought moments . I’m pretty good with all my animal names (gosh I sound like a 5 year old LOL) but I can’t for the life of me remember what a ram is. Is it a boy sheep? Or is a ram a whole other animal entirely?
Frankly, now that I’m ranting anyway, why do they even need to give boy animals and girl animals and their babies all different names?? Can’t they just say “male sheep” and “female sheep”? Sheesh!

I have to admit that I love food. I love to eat alone, with friends, while standing, while sitting and even while hiding from my kids (hey, I’m not always a good sharer LOL).
Some foods though I wish there was some kind of drug rehab kind of thing so I could stop craving them. Right now, I REALLY want a McDonald’s double cheeseburger. If I could find some way to shake that craving (and maybe my Doritos craving ), I’d be thrilled!!

I was putting some songs on an ipod last night and had a heck of a time finding songs I like LOL! I do like lots of music and songs but I never remember the names. Anyway I came accross a few but then as I was listening to the sample bit (to decide if i wanted to buy the song), I realized that I really have no idea what the words are . I may hear “movers New York” but they could be saying “I really like pork”… but hey, I sing along and have fun so that’s the main thing right?

Do you know the ones I mean? The ones that look like egg cartons but are made of squishy foam. They make a great mattress topper because they take any mattress and make it WAY more comfortable.
What worries me though is the smell of them. They smell like chemicals. I can’t help but wonder if they are healthy for kids to smell for 8 or 10 hours a night. But then I’m a bit on the paranoid side .

Friends of ours have a child named Karley-Ann Vanessa Michelle (and a long last name that I’ll keep to myself for privacy reasons). It’s a lovely name and none of my business I suppose but between you and I, I think it’s a bit too long. Makes me wonder if she’ll end up shortening it to KVM and be one of those kids whose names you never really know because they go by the acronym.
